DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

A large character house (200 m²) situated 15 miles south of Paris at Les Rochers, near Saulx-les-Chartreux, in the department of Essonne, on a hilltop overlooking wooded garden of 2,000 m², with a second two-room house adjacent, an ideal location to see the sights of Paris and surrounding areas (Disneyland within easy reach).

Main House
Reception room (two convertible couches) with dining area for 8.
2nd reception room (two convertible couches) .
Television room with television and Pal/Secam video plus one double convertible clic-clac couch (with normal size thick mattress and therefore very comfortable) - sleeps 2.
Fully equipped kitchen with combined microwave/convector oven/grill (Philips Whirlpool), hot plates, fridge/freezer, dishwasher (electric cooker with four hobs, washing machine and tumble dryer in garage).
Loggia/sun lounge approx. 7m x 2m with dining table and chairs for 18 persons.

Bedroom 1 – sleeps 2 : 1 double bed with small shower/washbasin/wc en suite
Bedroom 2 – sleeps 3 : 1 double bed + 1 single folding bed
Bedroom 3 – sleeps 4 : 2 single beds each with a slide-out bed trundle bed
Bath - with washbasin and wc
Shower - with washbasin and wc

Terrace of 70 m² on first floor including summer covered lounge of 26 m² with tables, chairs, sun loungers, plus paved courtyard in front of house facing south.
Lots of cupboard space throughout the house.

1 reception room – sleeps 4. Two clic-clac couches, table/chairs for 4
1 bedroom – sleeps 3 : 1 double bed + 1 single bed
1 bathroom/washbasin/wc
Kitchen fitted with fridge, hotplates, oven/grill, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and bar for 3 people with circular staircase leading to bedroom.
The property has complete privacy, faces south and is very sunny.

Outdoor heated swimming pool 20 m² separating the two houses in second paved courtyard. Central heating throughout, plus English-type electric fires in reception rooms and television room for in-between seasons.
Garden furniture/sun loungers, swing plus outside dining tables plus gas barbecue.
Garage for 1 car and space for 1 car outside garage but inside wall plus numerous parking in road.
Large enclosed garden.
All bed linen and towels are provided, plus place settings for the tables.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

With easy access to Paris by train (30 mins.) and car (20 mins.), an ideal location to see the sights of Paris and surrounding areas.

Disneyland on motorway by car or express train - 45 to 60 mins., Parc Asterix 60 mins. Several golf courses in the area, tennis (1 km.), horse-riding in village (2 kms), woods within 500 meters of house, rock climbing at Fontainebleu (40 minutes), country area but with large commercial centre (1 km) and Paris 20 minutes away by car with direct access on motorway. Numerous chateaux and gardens to visit, many with son et lumière shows and concerts - Versailles, Fontainebleu,Vaux-le-Viconte, Chantilly, Rambouillet, Bretigny, Beauregard, Courances, Marais, Thoiry (with large animal reserve and zoo), Sceaux, and the old towns of Chartres with its cathedral and lace making, and medieval Provins with its theme park. Many commercial centres and garden centres in the region.

LES PRIX ET PÉRIODES

Property available as a single unit (main and guest house) or as individual units (main house sleeping up to 11 people, and guest house sleeping up to 7 people. It is available all year for any period as from two nights.

The price includes all utilities (hot/cold water, electricity, heating), and bed linen and towels for bathrooms and swimming pool are supplied.
A security deposit of 450 euros is requested to cover possible breakage and any additional cleaning as required. It is expected that the house is returned in a clean and tidy state, although the basic housework will be done before a new group arrives. If it is left in an exceptional dirty or untidy state, with unemptied dustbins, etc., a deduction will be made from the security deposit to cover the additional work necessary.

Prices given are for ten persons using both houses. For larger groups, please ask owner.
