DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Vadicov Villa (2009) is located in the picturesque village of Horny Vadicov. This fascinating region of Slovakia lies north of Îilina and runs from the Kysuca River in the west to the Krivánska Lesser Fatra (mountains) in the east. This region is full of opportunity for recreation, tourism and sports. The village itself is situated at an altitude of 490 meters and has around 600 inhabitants. The villa is surrounded by a large garden where children can play. In the cozy gazebo you can sit with your family and enjoy a fine view, but you may also barbecue here. There is a separate garage for one car, additional cars can be parked within the enclosed grounds. Opposite the villa there is a kiosk where groceries can be purchased. All in all, a wonderful accommodation that is large enough to accommodate 10 persons for a nice holiday. More information www.holidayvillaslovakia.eu

This spacious villa was built in 2009. On the ground floor you’ll find a living room, kitchen, bathroom and sauna. The living room is fitted to western standards and contains modern furniture, a wood-burning stove, a dining table and leather 3 and 2-seat couches. There is also a TV (foreign channels) and CD / DVD player here. In a secluded corner there is a desk where, thanks to the Wireless LAN, Internet is available for your laptop. The kitchen - connected to the living room - is equipped with a 4-burner electric cooker, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator with separate freezer and a kettle. The downstairs bathroom has a sink, corner shower and washing machine where you do your laundry. Also downstairs, there is a sauna to help you relax. The six bedrooms provide accommodation for a total of 10 persons: four single beds (90 x 190) and three double beds (180 x 200). One of the bedrooms has a lovely balcony. The bathroom upstairs is equipped with a sink and spacious corner bath. There is also an infra-sauna suitable for 3 to 4 persons. Furthermore, there is a separate toilet plus a separate area for ironing. The house has central heating and a wood.burning stove for extra warmth in the living room.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

In summer you can enjoy lots of beautiful nature while hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding or swimming. The recreational resort of Vadičov is located just 2 km from the accommodation. Here there is always plenty to do. There is a playground for children with up to 20 attractions, a trampoline and even a place to build sand castles. Both young and old will enjoy the pool (14 x 8) with Jacuzzi and sun loungers. Relax at the wellness center with its Finnish, steam and infrared sauna and massage and beauty programs. Outdoor activities abound: there is a tennis court, a summer toboggan run and many other activities such as getting on “Big Wheels” and riding. The surrounding natural environment provides wonderful opportunities for mountain bikers! In a hotel in Vadičov it is possible to eat for about 12 euros per person (breakfast [± 5 euros] and dinner [± 7 euros]). A restaurant in Kysucké in Nove Mesto offers the opportunity to enjoy a good meal for just ± 5 euros. The Žilina region is characterized by a predominantly rugged mountainous landscape. This will help you completely forget the hectic pace of everyday life, and offers you new strength. Ideas for day trips: Kysucké Nove Mesto and especially the university town of Žilina, the main town in the area. The highlight of this city is its Mariánské Square, 100 x 100 meters, surrounded by a beautifully preserved historic arched gallery. This ancient city has everything you would expect in a historic city: museums, old buildings, a castle and above all, plenty of shopping and (inexpensive) dining facilities.
