DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This is a perfect holiday home for a group. The house lies on the edge of the "Slovak Paradise" national park in the tourist area around Košiarny briežok, Spišská Nova Ves and Smižany. In this beautiful region of eastern Slovakia, steep cliffs and valleys alternate with small gently babbling rivers. A charming area for nature lovers, crisscrossed by numerous trails, with opportunities for relaxation as well as excursions! The spacious house is located at the forest's edge where there are just a few isolated homes. The house is very spacious: a large kitchen and dining room, 5 bedrooms, 4 toilets and 5 showers. Around the house there is a large, fenced garden with a pergola, where you can eat, drink and sit around and chat. There is enough space to park several cars. You can even fly to Krakow (Poland), Poprad or Kosice (Slovakia). In consultation with the owner you can arrange a pick-up service from the airport with his (mini-) bus.

The house is modern and tastefully decorated with sturdy wooden furniture. In the dining room there are three tables with benches and chairs. The dining room is semi-connected to the spacious kitchen; at its center is a work table. On the walls are cabinets, a sideboard of steel, a 4-burner gas stove and an electric stove. The kitchen also has a refrigerator with freezer. Obviously, there is sufficient kitchenware and dishes for up to 22 persons. In the parterre you'll find a bedroom furnished with two single beds plus a private bath with sink, shower and toilet. On the ground there is also a toilet for common use plus an extra toilet and bathroom with two showers. On the first floor there is a large bedroom furnished with four bunk beds, a table and chairs and sufficient wardrobe space. This room has its own bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. The second L-shaped bedroom on this floor has three bunk beds, a sitting area and a bathroom with a toilet. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, each furnished with three single beds. These bedrooms use the bathroom and toilet below. In the basement you'll find storage space for bicycles and sports equipment. The entire house is centrally heated. This is a beautiful house in a fantastic environment suitable for a maximum of 22 persons.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

<p> Here you will find yourself in an incredibly beautiful area. Over time the river formed a mountain gorge with spectacular waterfalls (including those of Sokolia Dolina), which helps make the Slovak Paradise so special. In this area you can find many rock formations, caverns and caves (including the Dobšinská Ice Cave, the cave of Stratenská, The Bear's Cave and Devil's Grotto). Close to the National Park there are a number of cities with historic sights including Smižany (3 km), Spišská Nová Ves (8 km), Markušovce (13.5 km), Spis Štvrtok (9 km), and tourist centers like Čingov (1 km) Kláštorisko, Podlesok and Dedinky (35 km). From the house you can follow trails far into the environment to places like Levoca (15 km), the High Tatras, Low Tatras, Pieniny, Spiš Castle and Plejsy. For a touch of culture you can take trips to the impressive ruins of the castle of Spišské hrad, the walled town of Levoca (15 km) with its mansions dating from the 15th century, or learn about local history at the red monastery of Cerveny Klastor. A visit to the mining city of Rožňava (60 km) or the mausoleum of the Hungarian Andrassy family will surely prove to be a delight. For nature lovers, a trip to the ice cave of Dobšinská (45 km) should also be on the schedule. Aquapark Poprad is only 25 km away. The epitome of a relaxing holiday without having to drive as the landlord can arrange a trip by (mini-) bus, with or without a personal guide. The owner has both the equipment and staff for this. </ p>
