This holiday park is a very modern family-oriented park which occupies a unique location: on the edge of the dunes under the watchful eye of the lighthouse. The sea and beach are really within walking distance. It borders the vast "Jan Roepesheide" nature reserve where, among others, field owls and harriers breed. The picturesque village of Hollum is about one kilometer away. Its beautifully restored homes recall the days of whaling while the museums, beautiful churches, shops, restaurants and terraces in the villages offer many hours of pleasant relaxation. The most beautiful parts of the island ca be explored by bike or on foot. Enjoy the unique flora and fauna of Ameland and experience the tranquility, space and fresh sea air. Bet you come back!
