DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This free-standing bungalow is located in the region of North Holland (de Kop van Noord-Holland). This area has a 30-km-long coastline which contains resorts like Julianadorp aan Zee, Huisduinen, Groote Keeten, Callantsoog, St. Maartenszee and Petten. The landscape is characterized by an abundance of water pools, dykes, polders, dunes, nature reserves, bulb-growing fields, grasslands and little picturesque villages. The small, attractive resort of Sint Maartenszee lies just beyond Alkmaar. This luxurious bungalow, completely renovated in 2004, is part of a beautiful holiday park, sheltered by trees. The sea, beach and dunes are within easy walking distance of the bungalow. In the direct vicinity you will find a bicycle rental shop, subtropical swimming pool, sauna, solarium, modern all-weather tennis courts, entertaining discos, an Irish pub, miniature golf courses and an amusement park.

This free-standing bungalow can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons. The total (living) space of the bungalow is app. 55 m². The lay-out is as follows: a living room and an open kitchen with a fridge and freezer combo, an electric cooker with hood/fan, dishwasher and complete set of dinnerware for the above-mentioned number of guests. The living room has a color TV with remote control (having also some German TV channels), a DVD and video player, and a dining and sitting area. The bungalow has two bedrooms with a total of four single beds. In one bedroom the two single beds are set side by side to form a double bed. There is a double blanket on top of it. In the second bedroom there are two single beds standing apart, with a single blanket on each. Blankets and pillows are available. You are requested to bring your own bed linen, kitchen and bath towels. There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Outside there is sufficient garden furniture at your disposal. The bungalow is surrounded by a very large garden where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Parking is in front of the park. The tennis court and swimming pool are situated on the far side of the park.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

The beach of Sint Maartenszee is devoid of mass tourism and thus makes an ideal family beach. After a walk on the beach enjoy a meal at one of the two beach pavilions (one of the beach pavilions is also open in winter, on weekends). Bicycles are an excellent way to explore the surroundings. The dunes with their extended paths are perfect for Nordic walking. These dunes are relatively accessible and offer a varied landscape, from lakes to dunes with high observation points and even dune forests. In the direct neighborhood there is an amusement park with a large outdoor playground and indoor ball pits. There is also an indoor subtropical swimming pool with solarium and sauna. You can enjoy a pleasant stay here beyond the summer season as well. The bungalow serves as an excellent starting point for visiting attractive spots in the neighborhood. Several places worth mentioning include: Schagen, Alkmaar, the art village of Bergen, Schoorl, Callantsoog and the naval town of Den Helder. Within a stone’s throw there is, once again, a large amusement park with, among other attractions, an indoor play paradise, a ball pit and climbing nets plus an enormous playground.
