DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This accommodation is part of a villa situated in the quiet village of Irgoli, which lies on the northeastern coast of Sardinia. Here you are just 8 km away from the beautiful beaches of Orosei Bay. The villa has been divided into three apartments, two of which are available for rent. You can also rent the annex which is completely separate from the main building. All apartments contain paintings by the owner. The garden (of no less than 900 square meters) has two barbecues and garden furniture. Other amenities include a laundry.

This detached cottage is located next to the villa and has an area of 40m². It can accommodate two to four persons. The house has one bedroom with a separate bathroom. The living room contains two comfortable double bed sofas and a kitchen. The [corner] kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a stove, refrigerator with freezer, electric oven and Italian coffeemaker. The bathroom has a shower, bidet and toilet. Guests of this house can use the garden with common barbecue and garden furniture. The accommodation is comfortable and has a wood-burning stove and TV with satellite connection. Upon request you can get an electric heater.

The village of Irgoli is quiet and makes an ideal starting point for exciting trips into the surroundings. Irgoli has a population of about 2000 and is known for its delightful country kitchen and numerous "murales" (murals) that adorn the various buildings. In the village you will find everything you need to make your holiday enjoyable: a supermarket, pharmacy, post office, banks, bars and restaurants. The nearest beach is only 8 kilometers away from the villa. Tourist cities such as Dorgali (20 km), Siniscola (30km) and San Teodoro (55km) are within an hour’s drive. The Bay of Orosei is 18 km long and has a variety of landscapes including beautiful secluded beaches and rock cliffs. The beach between Cala Osalla and Santa Maria (4 km long) is just one example. Other beaches include Cala Liberotto, Cala Ginepro, Sa Curcurica, Bidderosa and Fuile 'e Mare with its 300-meter-long sandy beach that stretches between virgin nature and the clear sea. Fans of mountain climbing will certainly feel at home here: the Gennargentu National Park, adjacent to the bay of Orosei, offers a wild and rugged landscape. The park by the Punta la Marmora (1463 m) is known for its various climbing routes and day trips around the coast. Further to the west lies Barbagia. This park has the most hiking trails. Use of a guide is recommended in these areas. Cala Gonone, a beautiful tourist port, is 20 to 30 km from your accommodation. This town makes an excellent base for exploring magnificent caves, bays and beaches in the south. Here you can also take an organized boat trip or rent boats / canoes. Sardinia is famous for its so-called nuraghi - conical, truncated edifices sometimes reaching a height of 25 meters. These stone structures date from about 1500 BC. They were used as forts, houses, temples and tombs. Today there are approximately 8000 nuraghi's left. They lie mostly in the northwest and south-central part of the island.
