DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION
This agriturismo (farmhouse) is a modern farm with plenty of comforts. It is located in the province of Salerno, in the heart of the Cilento National Park. The 20-hectare estate is covered with olive trees, fig trees, orchards and vegetables: an integrated farm becoming a biological one. The fauna in the Cilento National Park and in the Vallo di Diano is quite diversified thanks to the wide variety of habitats in the area. Coastal and mountainous areas, rushing rivers and streams and wooded areas bolster the presence of species of the greatest naturalistic importance. The fauna is very rich also in the aquatic areas, where otters (Lutra lutra) are definitely the dominant population, probably the largest in Italy. The peculiarity of this farm is its location: near the sea, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. A long time ago, and even now, a trade road passed just in front of the old farm. The exchange of natural products was a common practice of yore. As the days went by, what were once only business relationships became friendships. There are organized sightseeing boat trips with ventures into caves and lunch on the beach; magic "Lamparate" (from lampara=fisherman light), with a dinner of freshly caught fish on a solitary creek; unforgettable day sailing excursions with on-board lunch, also gives you the possibility to swim in secluded and unspoiled waters and...meet dolphins before your romantic return! Higher up, in the silent kingdom of the high rocks and peaks of Alburni, Cervati, Motola and the Bulgheria Mountains, live the very rare Barberry of Etna (Berberis aetnensis), the endemic Saxifrages of Appennino (as Saxifraga paniculata subsp. stabiana, Saxifraga ampullacea and the rare Saxifraga porophylla), the Aubrieta columnae subsp. Columnae, the mountain Centaurea and other rare species.
All rooms have a bathroom and shower. There are also wheelchair accessible rooms. The largest has a great panoramic view. Upon request you can have a TV. Thanks to the thickness of the walls of the house there is no need for an air-conditioner: here we have "natural" air-conditioning. In the summer evenings it is recommended you wear a sweater or pullover, even in August.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS
At Cilento Park three cultures coexist: the coastal one, the hilly one and the mountainous one. Different traditions and habits, yet together they form a single story. This story has its roots in the mythology of Jason, who stopped off near the mouth of the river Sele and founded the sanctuary of Argive Hera mentioned by Homer. Palinuro, the unfortunate friend of Aeneas, reminds us of the dangers of ancient navigation and gives us a sense of eternal friendship. In San Mauro La Bruca, where the interesting and impressive story of the Eucharistic Miracle experienced by Don Pasquale Allegro took place, there is a curios church built upon three levels, among which the second level is worth a visit. Here you can see paintings made by unknown authors but of great value, representing the rite of Saint Eufemia and Saint Lucia. San Nazario, Castinatelli and Cuccaro Vetere, with its patronal church hosting a fragment of the Christ's Cross, are also worth a visit; don't miss Laurito, Rofano and Sanza either. Stio, Laurino and Piaggine as well as Felitto, Roccadaspide and Cicerale are also interesting places. There are many natural areas worth visiting as well: the gorges of Bussento in Morigerati and the gorges of Calore in Felitto; the Lontra; Bruca Wood; Punta Licosa; the courses of the Lambro, Mingardo, Bussento and Tanagro rivers; the dam on the Alento and the mouth of the Sele.
