DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This accommodation is part of a large house situated near the village of Policastro Bussentino and the fantastic Policastro Bay in the southern Italian region of Campania. This rural house contains two apartments. Thanks to its excellent location, you can easily reach the beach located just 400 meters away. The old center of Policastro is approximately 600 meters away. The house has private parking, a barbecue and an outdoor shower.

This modern ground-floor apartment can accommodate 2 to 4 persons. The living-dining room is well-equipped including a double bed sofa. The open kitchen adjoins the living room and contains a 4-burner gas stove, electric oven, refrigerator, toaster and Italian coffeemaker. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The large bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. The apartment is modern and comfortable and has central heating, a HI-FI stereo and TV with satellite connection. Guests of this accommodation have their own [furnished] place in the garden – ideal for peacefully enjoying the sun, nature and surrounding environment.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

The apartment is located in the midst of Policastro Bussentino near Policastro Bay. Thanks to its hilly location you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surroundings from the house. The center of Policastro is only 600 meters away. Here you will find all the facilities you might need: restaurants, pizzeria, supermarkets, a playground, tennis courts, shops and cafes. The National Park Cilento and Vallo di Diano, a protected area that is on UNESCO’s world heritage list, is only a few kilometers from the house. Cilento park is a mountainous area stretching from the Bay of Salerno across southern Campania to the Bay of Sapri. Typical of this region are a rich culture and history, a centuries-old tradition of hospitality and a wide range of local products including olive oil and wine. Driving along the coast from Policastro to Paestum not only will you discover picturesque villages but also beautiful sandy coves and cliffs. Cilento is an area yet to be discovered because it has not yet been overrun by the large flow of tourists seen elsewhere in recent decades. Dense forests, villages situated high up on the mountains, picturesque marinas and quiet valleys are a real invitation to explore this region. The park preserves a legendary and mysterious character of a country rich in history and culture: the call of the nymph Leucosia, Palinuro the mate of Enea, the ruins of the Greek colonies of Velia and Paestum, the beautiful monastery of Padula – these are just some examples.
