DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Le Petit Foussal is a newly refurbished stone cottage offering perfect facilities for a summer holiday rental in the picturesque Lot Valley in South West France. The house, which used to be the village smoke house, is 150 years old and retains exposed beams and many original features. The house is equipped with all facilities including dishwasher and satellite television.

As the cottage is newly refurbished all equipment is new. There is a plunge pool (much, much safer for young children) in the private garden. On the outskirts of the village of Sauzet, which has a bakery, post office and restaurant, it is surrounded by vineyeards which produce the famous "black wine of Cahors"

Le Petit Foussal is ideally located for exploring the area which includes the delightful market town on Montcuq with a market on Sunday mornings, and Prayssac with its Friday market. Historic Cahors is just 20 minutes away where it is possible to take cruises on the Lot River. Within the area there are facilities for golf, horse riding, canoeing and fishing.

All linen and towels (including pool towels) are included in the price and we offer a change of linen every Saturday for those staying more than 1 week.
