DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Kremze, which lies in a quiet part of the Pošumaví region. The village contains facilities like a restaurant, shop, post office and ATM. At a distance of 1 km, you can relax and fish at the natural lake of Holubov. You can also swim here. The entire area provides numerous opportunities for hiking and cycling. During your walk or bike ride you can enjoy a beautiful and clean natural surroundings complete with picturesque scenery and plenty of tranquility. The scenic foothills of the Sumava Mountains have lots of beautiful mixed woodlands and lakes. The strategic location of the holiday house allows you to take cultural trips to famous cities like Ceske Budejovice and Cesky Krumlov (15 km). Your daily shopping can be done right on-site or in the supermarkets 15 km away. The area is dotted with restaurants serving excellent food at low prices. In winter, this romantic setting is great for snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing and ice skating. A small ski resort lies about 3 km from the house. This ski area has a number of slopes and a dense network of cross-country trails with a total length of 30-45 km.

This simple but efficient guest house is about 200 meters from the village square and can accommodate up to 6 persons. The house dates from 1920 but was completely renovated in 2004. The ground floor has a living room with an open kitchen equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, kettle and plenty of utensils. The living room also contains a sitting area with a TV, radio, dining area (with table and chairs) and a fireplace. On the first floor you’ll find two bedrooms, each suitable for two persons. There is also a bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine on this floor. Behind the house there is a small garden / courtyard with a sitting area with a portable barbecue / grill. The house is centrally heated.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

With their beautiful mixed woodlands and lakes, the scenic foothills of the Sumava Mountains are a natural paradise and a great place to spend a holiday. With a wide range of hiking and biking trails, there is something here for everyone. You can take trips in the near and distant surroundings. This is an ideal place for mushroom picking, fishing, swimming and horseback riding as well as just relaxing amidst nature. 15 km from the house lie two important and beautiful south Bohemian cities: Ceske Budejovice and Cesky Krumlov. Ceske Budejovice is the largest city in South Bohemia and is situated on the banks of the Vltava River, in a hilly area with lots of forests and lakes. Ceske Budejovice is a major tourist crossroads and contains many historic relics, squares, picturesque restaurants and cafes. Here you will also find an indoor and outdoor pool, shopping malls, supermarkets and numerous tourist attractions. In the world famous, picturesque town of Cesky Krumlov, both the town and its medieval monuments are on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Here you can soak up plenty of history as well as enjoy a nice stroll through the town center, where you will find lots of cozy cafes and restaurants, plus a variety of museums, galleries and festivals. In Cesky Krumlov golfers can play until their hearts content on the 18-hole golf course. At a distance of 26 km, there is the famous neo-Gothic castle of Hluboka nad Vltavou, set in an English park. Given the number of sites, we highly recommend these cities for a day out. For water sports you can visit the famous water sports center of South Bohemia, Lipno. Here you will find all kinds of water sports plus opportunities for sunbathing, swimming and just plain relaxing. Local restaurants and bars serve traditional Czech and international cuisine. In winter, this is a romantic setting for snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing and skating. There is a small ski village about 3 km from the accommodation.
