DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Lopar is a picturesque tourist village on the island of Rab, which is a part of the Kvarner Archipelago. The village is abundant in beautiful sandy beaches, which are especially suitable for older people, families with children and less proficient swimmers, but equally for young people keen on sports and amusement. Because of its favorable natural conditions and beauty, tourism here is very well developed. At the very edge of the sea, with an extraordinary ambiance, this is an ideal place for relaxation. Here you will find a variety of catering services, shops, a marketplace, fish market, bakery and tobacconist. There are also many sports facilities such as handball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, mini-golf, trim-track, etc.

This 1st-floor apartment has an area of about 40 m2 and is suitable for three persons. The bedroom is furnished with a double and a single bed. You have the option for one more person to sleep on a sofa in the dining/living room. The nicely furnished living room is well-equipped and has a dining area for all guests. In the living room you will also find the kitchen which has all the necessary equipment such as a cooker, refrigerator, cutlery and utensils. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. This thermo-isolated apartment does not need air-conditioning. It has a balcony offering a view of the sea. There is a garage for your car.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Rab is an island of 93.6 square kilometers. On this island you will find the village of Lopar which has an abundance of beautiful sandy beaches. The largest and most famous is Rajska Plaža or 'Paradise Beach', which is 1.5km / 0.9m long. It has the most tourist facilities and was awarded the 'Blue Flag' in 2003 - the international symbol of quality and preservation of the natural environment as well as safety. The town of Lučica is the starting point for mini taxi-boats which transport tourists to neighboring beaches. A modern form of the same service is organized by three glass bottom boats which, on a daily basis, take tourists to view a very amazing underwater world. There are also several boats for whole-day excursions. The most popular excursion is the one to Goli Otok (Naked Island) with its notorious former prison, which is known among tourists as the "Croatian Alcatraz". Just a couple of miles from Lopar there is Zavratnica fjord, in the nature park of northern Velebit. This is one of the few fjords in the Adriatic where you can find sunken ships of the German navy, which is why it attracts so many tourists - especially divers. The diving club of Lopar enables tourists to enter a completely different world- an underwater world of harmony, beauty and silence. The club offers diving courses as well as test dives for amateurs-beginners, rental of equipment and vessel services. Another attraction which is worth mentioning is "Medova Buza". This is a natural phenomenon with an underwater entrance to three inter-connected caves. It used to be the habitat of the Mediterranean sea-bear after which it was named. Today it is the destination of tourists who often come here to organize underwater weddings.
