DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Welcome to Austria's most beautiful hiking area - Kartitsch! This mountain village is situated in a valley surrounded by the Alps and the Dolomites of Linz. Our apartment, which was built in 2007, lies at an altitude of 1,350 meters, on the sunny side of the Alps. It is in a tranquil environment (the Dolomites of Lienz are perfect for a long walk or hike) yet at the same time, it is quite centrally located. Within 50 meters you will find a bank, a post office, a grocery store and a café. <br>Visit the sports center of Kartitsch-Neuwinkel at the entrance to Winkler Valley. The tennis courts were built using the latest technology (for example, the courts can be used immediately after rain). In addition, multifunctional fields and courts (for badminton, handball, basketball and football) are waiting for you here. The Kneipp-bath and a playground are also available. Breathe in the fresh air on a hike up to the Obstanersee Hütte (2,304m). In the background you can see the Großglockner. For a unique experience watch the sunrise on the 2,678 meter high Pfannspitze. The Obstanter ice cave is also spectacular, and can be accessed via the Heny Duke hiking route which winds past the Obstanter waterfall and Henry Duke chapel. <br>

This spacious and modern apartment is comfortably furnished and has not left out any extra service which would cater to the convenience of the tourist. This two-story house with two balconies has an area of 51 m2 and is suitable for 4 to 6 persons. The entrance to the house is on the ground floor. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and bidet. In the American-style living room you will find a flat screen TV, a computer corner, two extractable sofas, a kitchen cupboard with all the necessary kitchen equipment, and a dining table for 6 persons. Guests can enjoy the wellness section of the house which is equipped with a sauna, a physiotherm infrared cabin and a solarium. Bathrobes can be rented and a massage service is also available for an additional fee. The apartment comes with a parking place and a storage area where you can store all your ski equipment during the winter season.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Good hiking routes, a beautiful landscape, the hospitality of the Tirolean people, local curiosities and wonderful cultural programs ensure that you will have a great time here. Furthermore, Kartitsch makes an ideal starting point for visiting the surrounding areas with their various points of interest, or even for hiking in Southern Tirol, since it is located just 12 km from the border. <br>For those who prefer to spend their time adventurously, we recommend gliding or hang-gliding. Close to the zoo in Assling you will find the Assling Leisure Centre complete with summer bobsled track, open-air swimming pool with slide, playground and tennis court. The fun park in Sillian, the Tuffbad in St. Lorenz and the aquapark in Innichen (Italy) are all within 25 km. Golf is possible in Lienz, where there is a professional golf course. Cultural programs are also organised here, for example Gustav Maler Weeks.<br><br>
