DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

This accommodation is located in the province of Salzburg, between the Grossglockner and the Hohe Tauern, in one of the most beautiful valleys in Austria, with a view of the mountains and the world-famous spa town of Bad Gastein. Whether you're looking for a family vacation, an active holiday or just a bit of rest and relaxation - your stay here will be an unforgettable experience no matter the time of year. In the summer you have access to a heated outdoor swimming pool, free of charge. Furthermore, there is a lake just a few hundred meters away, situated between Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein at the crossing of Erlengrund - a refreshing experience with a large lawn! It is easily reachable on foot via the Achenpromenade or by bicycle on the bicycle path which connects to a bus stop. Sports activities such as golf, tennis, horseback riding, paragliding, hiking, etc. are also offered. More vacation for less money - that's what is offered by the new (and free) Gasteiner Card, valid at all three places in the Gastein valley! No matter how long you stay, with the Gasteiner Card you have plenty of options - partly free and partly at greatly reduced prices. The globally unique healing/alpine environment of the Gastein healing cave has made the curative tunnel world famous as the most intensive and effective therapy in the Gastein valley. A perfect interaction of Radon, heat and humidity make the cave the most effective natural treatment for rheumatic diseases. The ski lifts are to be found approximately 4 km from the house.

This accommodation has a total area of 8x3 meters and is suitable for 4 adults plus 2 children. There is a master bedroom furnished with a double bed, a child's bedroom furnished with 2 single beds plus a bunk bed and a lounge with a sofa bed for 2 persons. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and wash basin (with hot and cold running water). There is a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker and kettle. A ski storage with boot dryer, drying room, lounge with TV and games are all available free of charge.

The Gastein valley lies in the heart of Salzburg Province and is one of the largest and most beautiful recreational areas in Austria. It is a beautiful place with a welcoming nature, lots of fresh air and several thermal sources. The two large thermal spas provide plenty of opportunity for relaxation. Bike rental is available in Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein and Dorfgastein, as the best routes can also be found here. The Gastein valley bike paths are family-friendly. Alpine golfing can be found in the valley of Bad Gastein, surrounded by a picturesque landscape. The traditional Gastein Golf Club has a newly designed 18-hole golf course. But even the nightlife here is wonderful - a large number of discos and bars provide intimate evenings. Bad Gastein means mountains and thermal springs. The charming town of Bad Gastein (1,002 m) is situated in the Hohe Tauern National Park, in the heart of Salzburg Province. Its symbol is a waterfall which cascades water to a depth of around 100 meters, in an impressive display in the middle of town. The spa and thermal centers promise relaxation, while the great leisure and sports facilities offer plenty of opportunity for an active holiday. Shopping enthusiasts can indulge their passion at the many boutiques and shops in the vicinity. Gamblers can try their luck in the casino. The glass tunnel which brings you from the base station of the special train directly to the futuristic complex of Felsentherme (rock-dome) is quite impressive. This is located in a former mining tunnel 2.5 kilometers long. Whether seeking relaxation or looking for a family vacation, you will feel at home here!
