DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION
The impressive mountain view offered by the Mauthen-Kötschach resort will help make your holiday - in summer or in winter - an unforgettable experience. The combination of comfortable camping facilities with sound environmental management was rewarded in 2005 with the European Eco-Label certification. The facilities include an adventure playground with jungle gyms, swings, a seesaw, play tower and sandbox. There is also a shop with oven-fresh breakfast pastries, pizza service, homemade bio-products, magazines, souvenirs and more; all the products are of the highest quality. The unique wellness oasis offers high-temperature dry sauna, crystal steam bath, "Schwitzkastl" with colored lights, steam room with a giant stove and a fitness room and massage. With "home made" treats and barbecue evenings in the garden, you are expected at the "S Tavern" Restaurant. Meals are served from 11h to 14h, and in the evening from 18h to 22h.
You are sure to feel at home in these friendly, brightly furnished apartments suitable for 2 persons. This spacious 25 m² apartment is fully-equipped from a small kitchen with sufficient cooking utensils and tableware to bed, table and hand linen. Of course you also have high-speed Internet access via Wi-Fi. The apartment is centrally heated (heating is included in the price). For winter sports fans a ski and drying room for skis and ski equipment is available. There is also a washer and dryer. Of course guests have access to all the facilities of the camp: the playground with climbing tower and childrens playroom, table tennis equipment, table football facility and also the shop, with its fresh breakfast pastries and more.

Savor the quiet of the countryside with a walk through the pristine meadows and untouched forests as you discover the flowers and plants of this fantastic mountain world. From the mountain to the water: entry to the "AQUARENA" (a 10-minute walk away), a water and wellness oasis, is FREE for guests of this accommodation! In the "AQUARENA" you will find an indoor swimming pool with massage bank and soil bubbling, a toddler and baby pool with all sorts of attractions for children, a 45 meter tube slide, outdoor pool with flow channel, Finnish sauna, samarium, bio, Roman tepidarium, Turkish steam bath, fizzy basin for the legs, bucket shower and cold plunge pool. The mountains of the Gailtaler and Carnic Alps around Kötschach-Mauthen provide a unique challenge for walkers, hikers, mountaineers and climbers. Among the most popular destinations are the Calnic Ridgeway, the Geo on Plöcken Pass, Wolayer Lake and the paths of peace - in the field of the open-air museum - on Plöcken Pass. An adventurous tour across the gorge on Mauthner suspension bridges and footbridges is sure to be an unforgettable experience. Kötschach-Mauthen is a wonderful Dorado for botanists, historians, geologists and archaeologists. The Alpine adventure program contains: guided walk, joint gorge crossing (for experienced adventurers), whitewater rafting, kayaking, canyoning in a Canadian boat, mountain bike tours along the largest mountain bike trails of Carinthia's Nature Area (mountain bikes available on the square), and light biking through Gailtal. From the mountain to the sea: the Alpine Camp is an ideal starting point for tours to Italy and Slovenia. The Gailtal, Gitschtal, Lesachtal, Weissensee and the Carnic and Gailtaler Alps form a natural gem, and thanks to the topography, make an ideal target. Mountain roads and lakes without end, as well as regional specialties and the culture of three countries are yours to experience in the course of these tours. As an extra highlight: climb the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3798 meters).
