DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

The Eifel Holiday Park lies amidst a natural volcanic environment containing vast forests and charming valleys at the intersection point of three countries: Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. There is a swimming pool at the holiday park plus extensive facilities nearby at Aquafun, a swimming paradise with indoor pool, wave pool, Hydro Tube, outdoor pool, infant and kiddie pool plus a citizen’s express. You will find opportunities for climbing at the indoor playground of Kids World (brand new 800 m² child’s paradise [0-12 years of age]; guests of the park receive free admission). Kids are truly king here! The holiday park is car-free, so the little ones can play carefree. The restaurant even has children's furniture so your kids will feel at home. But the Eifel is not only a vacation paradise for children. The Eifel is a sports paradise for both young and old with its many hiking and cycling trails. You can also discover Europe's largest Nordic fitness park or pamper yourself at the Spa with its Turkish bath, sauna, whirlpool, solarium, massage service and indoor pool.

This detached villa is suitable for up to 6 persons and has a total (residential) area of approximately 75 square meters. This type villa offers everything necessary for a supremely comfortable holiday. On the ground floor there is the living room, a kitchen, one bedroom and a bathroom. The first floor has two bedrooms. The living room contains a sitting area, dining area and a new TV with SCART connections for a DVD player / Playstation / X-box. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, microwave and coffee maker plus complete dinnerware for the stated number of guests. This villa has a highchair and baby bed as standard. There are three bedrooms: each bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Through the open doors in the living room you can access the garden terrace complete with outdoor furniture.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Explore the underworld of the old mine shaft of Mayen Stap. Step inside and descend deep into the earth via an old cage. Learn about the history and technology of slate mining. Of course you will receive the proper gear to help ensure that you do not get lost! Upon request you can end your experience with a buffet. Mayen is 40 minutes drive from the Eifel holiday park. Ideal for families with older children. A personal guide is not a luxury for your mountain bike adventures here. Wolfgang Kubannek from Manderscheid knows the region and is on-hand to take you under his wing. Koulshore in Daun is for daredevils: this is a very technical course for experienced mountain bikers, with hanging wooden bridges and spectacular jumps. The Vulkan Bike Trail Park has a total of 750 km of trails - you choose! Or visit the imperial castle, the pride of Cochem. It is a brisk and steep walk to the imperial castle which towers above the city. This old fortress dates from the year 1000 and has been reconstructed to be as authentic as possible. Here you can see how knights and ladies once lived. What’s more, the view of the valley of the Moselle is priceless! From January until March there are daily tours. At night you can enjoy a knight’s meal (reserve in advance!). Cochem is half an hours drive from the Eifel park and is suitable for all ages. Climb the mountain to the castle of Löwenstein if for nothing else but the view. Cozy cafes and restaurants abound. Montreal is also just half an hours drive from the Eifel holiday park and is ideal for romantic souls. With water sports and quad-biking in the summer, cross-country skiing in winter and Nordic walking possible year round, come and discover the unique surroundings of the Eifel holiday park with its ancient volcanic landscape. Even from the Eifelquerbahn - an authentic train running from one village to another - you are sure to enjoy the scenery!
