DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Nestled among beautiful meadows and surrounded by vast pine forests, this quiet, family-oriented holiday resort/ campground with detached bungalows lies on a sunny southern slope of the High Black Forest. It is situated right on the Kirnbergsee (with beaches), surrounded by thickly wooded hills.With its modern sanitary facilities and restaurants, numerous tourist spots and famous attractions in the area, not to mention endless recreational opportunities, this is an ideal destination for a holiday. Here you can go hiking, swimming, surfing and fishing and there is even a boat rental service at your disposal. From the terrace of the restaurant you can enjoy a wonderful view over the lake.In the restaurant you can order delicious meals at affordable prices. In the afternoon enjoy a coffee with some delicious cakes. Excursions and camping sites can be booked at the reception. You can also rent bicycles: mountain bikes, trekking bikes and trial bikes. For sporting activities there is a large grass playing field and a table tennis table at the playground. Children can romp around on the lawn and have fun at the exciting playground. There is a kiosk offering a small selection of food, ice creams and drinks. Breakfast and bread service are available on-site.

This disabled-friendly (upon request) wooden bungalow is part of a quiet resort and has a living space of 40m². It is suitable for up to 4 persons and consists of a living room with a kitchenette (fridge, 2-burner stove, coffeemaker), a dining area, shower, toilet and satellite TV. The bungalow also has 3 sleeping rooms: a living room with a sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bedroom for children which is furnished with bunk beds (0.9 x 2 m). Electricity, water, heating, final cleaning, tourist tax and all linen (towels, bath towels, complete bed linen with weekly change) are included in the rent. Please, bring your own beach towels! There is hot water in all sinks and wash basins (free!). For a fee of 4.00 € you can use the washing machine and dryer (book at the office). A baby crib (up to 2 years of age) is available free of charge (upon request). In the laundry room you will find sanitation washrooms, spacious showers, dishwasher and washer / drying which you can use for a fee.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Unterbränd means pure nature. In both summer and winter the lake and surrounding area offers numerous opportunities. Here you can enjoy an active holiday or simply relax. The Kirnbergsee, surrounded by beautiful flowered meadows and extensive forests, offers lots of pristine nature and recreational possibilities. This gem, situated at an altitude of 785 meters in the southern Black Forest, is known far beyond its national borders, primarily because of its warm lake water, its biodiversity of flora and fauna and its well-kept beaches. This is a great place for swimming, surfing, fishing and hiking. Unterbränd is a municipality known for its fresh invigorating forest air, sunshine, meadows, forests, water and lots of farm animals! For snowy winter pleasure the Black Forest has pines, a frozen lake surface and cross-country trails on-site or nearby in the vicinity. There is also an extensive network of hiking and biking trails around the Kirnbergsee and in the surrounding forests. The romantic Bodensee is only 50 km away, as are other famous places such as Friedrichshafen, Konstanz and Bregenz. The healthy climate plus a number of healing spas in the close surroundings (Hüfingen, Schluchsee, Nagold or Bad Durrheim, Peterstal and Rippoldsau) help contribute to your well-being. Also recommended are the cities of Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Strasbourg and Titisee-Neustadt. Be sure to hop a ride on the steam train of the Acher Valley Railway or enjoy the unique experience of a leisurely ride of 25 km on the steam train of the Sauschwänzlebahn ("Pigtail Railway"). Also be sure top visit the Wutachschlucht region, a true holiday and hiking paradise or take a boat ride in the Taubergiessen nature reserve, one of the few remaining nature paradises in Germany. Let the tranquility of this alluring landscape ensnare you!
