DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

In Heggenes, a village located in the province of Valdres, the beautiful Norwegian domain Herang Tunet is situated. In this domain at 500m altitude a big Norwegian wooden house, coming right out of a fairy tale, was built. It has a spacious apartment giving room to 6 persons. It is surrounded with woods and water and is located at the Hegge Fjord at the border of the Jotunheimen. The house is built in the typical style of the province of Valdres and lays in-between other, older (unoccupied) buildings which were restored in this 'tunet' by the province itself. The whole is part of the cultural heritage of Valdres.

The house has a large kitchen equipped with stove (4 burners), micro-wave, electric oven, dishwasher and several small kitchen apparatus. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a raised bed. Duvets and pillows are available, bed linen and towels are for rent.
A cot and baby chair are available as well.

The house is close to a lake with swimming and fishing facilities. On the beach it is possible to rent canoes. Bank, supermarket and bus stop from and to Oslo within walking distance. The house is for rent as well in winter as in summer. Plenty of hiking and skiing possibilities.
