DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Zebegény is situated on the most beautiful part of the Danube Belt, 60km from Budapest. With its unique beauty and atmosphere it has become a popular holiday resort. Here each season offers a unique ambiance. Zebegény has two parts: the village, which lies in the valley, and the chalets, which are nestled in the mountains. This accommodation is located on top of a mountain, in the most tranquil and beautiful part of Zebegény. The house can be accessed in both summer and winter. Due to its unique location the whole Danube Belt 'lies in front of its base'. The house itself was built in 2006, in Mediterranean style. It contains 5 apartments, each designed to provide a beautiful panoramic view, which can be enjoyed almost from your bed. The furnishings guarantee total comfort.<br>Next to the house there is a parking place for your car as well as a beautiful well-looked-after garden. The garden comes with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.<br>

This is a modern, totally furnished Mediterranean-style apartment suitable for four persons. The apartment has well-arranged bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed. There is a well-equipped American style kitchen and a living room with a satellite TV and CD player. The beautiful bathroom has a wash basin, toilet and shower. The shower has a massage function as well.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Zebegény is situated between Visegrád and Esztergom, in the middle of the Danube Belt. Its magic casts a spell over everyone who visits it. This is due partly to the beautiful layout of the tiny village, but its cultural traditions and approachability are also a factor in its charm. <br>Designed by the famous Renaissance man Károly Kós, the Roman Catholic Church in the village is well worth seeing. It is also a unique example of 20th century Hungarian church construction. The Maritime Museum is also quite interesting. <br>Here each season of the year provides a different atmosphere. In the warmer seasons there is the opportunity for water sports, angling, horseback excursions, tennis, football, volleyball, etc. In winter ski aficionados will find a slope with ski-lift in Zebegény–Újvölgy. From Zebegény there are cruises to Esztergom and Visegrád every day.<br>Zebegény is an ideal place from where you can make excursions to the capital of Budapest (60km) or Esztergom (25km), which used to be the capital of the country during the reign of Arpad. Its famous dome-topped cathedral as well as neighboring Visegrad (10km), which is one of the oldest towns in Hungary, are a must see. In Visegrad you will find the ruins of the renaissance Royal Palace. On top of the mountain above the palace there is a spectacular medieval fortress as well as a toboggan run. Visit Szentendre (30km) where the local gallery and the Margit Kovács Museum are worth seeing.<br>
