DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Bas Brezel is a 200 year old granite stone farm and cottage. Renovated to very high standard with old oak beams and fireplaces. Modern interior, open-plan, light and spacious, very well fitted out with all you need to be comfortable away from home. The cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, is 120m2 and sleeps 8. The farmhouse has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which are large family rooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 10 and is 100m2. It is south facing and is full of light and sunshine making it a warm and comfortable yet spectacular house. We have furnished it with some lovely old antique French furniture which is robust and suitable for family use. There is a DVD player for films and toys and kids bikes available. Cots and high chairs are included. It is a tranquil environment and all guests tell me they have had a relaxing and wonderful stay. The children will be amused as you pass through a farm to get to us, the road is private so children can play for hours undisturbed.

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

Large mature apple orchard with swings and slide for kids, plenty of space to play games such as badminton or boules. 4.5m round swimming pool with sun loungers and wooden decking area. Free tennis court in the village. Sandy beaches with beautiful views of Mt St Michel 20 mins away. Two zoos and activity parks within an hours drive. Golf at Les Ormes 20 mins. Numerous mountain biking opportunities both in the countryside, along disused train tracks or alongisde the canal and in the Fougeres forest. Shopping in the ancient city of Rennes 40 mins, historic Fougeres castle 15 mins.

LES PRIX ET PÉRIODES

Available all year round. All inclusive price of bills, gas, water, electricity. Fresh linen and towels are provided. A plentiful supply of seasoned applewood for the fire. House is supplied immaculatly cleaned and no cleaning cost after the stay. Refundable deposit of 100 euros against damages.
