DESCRIPTION & COMPOSITION

Welcome to the Berger holiday house. The Nassfeld Hermagor ski region promises a fantastic winter holiday. The ski bus stops just in front of the house and provides free shuttle service to the ski region (Approx. travel time: 20 minutes). The starting point of the cross-country ski track is located just 20 meters away from the house. The Kötschach-Mauthen family ski area is suitable for families with small children. Special offer: free skiing for children under 10. Ski storage and drying space available. We are members of the Kaninschen Incoming Gesellschaft, therefore we can offer discount ski passes for the Nassfel ski area. In Kötschach-Mauthen there are plenty of shopping opportunities, but you also can find a floodlit toboggan run, countless winter trekking routes and an indoor swimming center with sauna.

This large, 57 m2 apartment is located on the first floor of the house. Its balcony provides a marvelous view of the Gailtaler Alps. The apartment has a hall, a fully-equipped American-style kitchen, and a living room with a satellite TV. One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed while the other is suitable for three persons. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.The price of the Kärnten Card is per adult for 1 week € 34, - per child, the card is free!(Children born from 1996 to 2004)The price of the Kärnten Card is per adult for 2 weeks € 42, - per child, the card is free!

CADRE DU LOGEMENT ET ACTIVITÉS

With its beautiful untouched nature, Kötschach-Mauthen makes an excellent place in the summer for sports and hiking. There are lots of sports and recreational facilities here including tennis courts, strands, swimming pools and cycling paths, as well as opportunities for horseback riding, canyoning, rafting and rock climbing. You and your family can enjoy an unforgettable dayof white water rafting under the guidance of professionals. These tours go through Mauthen Creek and under suspension bridges and tunnels. Mauthen is also a paradise for geologists, botanists and archaeologists. The mountain landscape, with its steep and declivitous mountain cliffs and peaks, is a perfect place for excursions and rock climbing. The R3 cycling path is part of the “Bikerarena”, which provides an excellent opportunity for tourists to explore the culture, cuisine and landscape of three countries. The starting point of the R3 is close to the apartment house. Gourmands can enjoy the offerings of the “Kellerwand” mansion as well as other inns throughout the countryside. On the last weekend of every September the “Cheese Festival” is held which includes a parade in traditional folk costume. Over the years this event has grown to become an international event, where quality products are exhibited.
